Discover Tunisia with Tuni’Trip!

The Coronavirus pandemic has turned our lives upside down, affecting everything from the way we work to family relationships and friendships, for better and for worse. It’s been ages since so many of us met up in person at a Rotaract trip.

Yes, virtual meetings are awesome (not that much, honestly). But don’t you miss the sights, sounds, smells, and all-round sensory overload that a face-to-face, in-person, non-virtual, real-life, International Rotaract gathering brings?

If yes, then we have great news!

Because Tuni’Trip is on! And we mean properly on! We are going all in with a real-life gathering, a trip with so much to see and do in each region of a wonderful country, a wide variety of landscapes, a coastline spanning 1.250km, studded with islands and archipelagos, a fantastic array of traditions and costumes and a rich historical heritage. In addition to making new friends, meeting interesting people, delicious food, hotels, morning runs, beach activities , social events, parties, and all that stuff we love so much about Rotaract trips!

And we’re doing all that in style! When you say Rotaract Club Megrine, we think of fun times and laughter and when we you Tunisia we think of history, sprawling sand dunes, beaches with the clearest water, green forests and desert Star War sets!

For that, Rotaract Club Megrine from Tunisia, District 9010, has scheduled to have you here for a 6-days trip around Tunisia which will be held on May 22-27, 2022.

And here is the program of the one and only Tuni’Trip!

Let’s begin with the 1st day:

-Regrouping and assembling the party people (you guys), then we take you to rest a little bit, before going for a fancy dinner and calling it a day.

For the 2nd day, there will be a cultural marathon:

-We’ll start the day with a good breakfast, then we head to the Medina of Tunis, the capital of Tunisia, accompanied by a professional tour guide.

Guess what’s our next destination? Okay, okay, you’re right, I said no suspense… our next destination will be one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, The ancient Phoenician city, “Carthage”, to explore its archaeological sites.

Next door, we will take a good peek to Sidi Bou Said, the elegant village where the blue and white houses jostle with each other on the hillside, facing the sea. It will be the perfect location to have a good dinner with a unique sunset view. And, finally, after getting all cultured and stuff, its time to wrap it up with a party!

Lets go to the 3rd day. Now, this one is pretty tiring but i can assure you all that it’s totally worth it!

-We’ll wake up really early and hit the road to the south of the country, to Zemmour, in the Medenine Governorate. But first, we are going to make some stops.

We are going to feel the history behind the second largest Roman amphitheater in the world (after the one in Rome), El Jem, located in the city of El Djem, then a quick energy refueling pause in Skhira, and that’s it for the stops. As mentioned before, we will head southbound to spend the night in the Berber village Zemmour and to end the day with a traditional dinner which will also feature an amazing folklore show. After that, we need to sleep, we need some rest.

For the 4th day, it’s going to be exploration:

-A good breakfast followed by a hike between mountains and desert to explore the beauty of the south. And, last but not least, we’ll take the road to the Djerba, the dream island, where we will rest a bit and then go party and enjoy the island vibes.

The 5th day is total summer vacation style :

-A quick breakfast at the hotel, then we will visit iconic places like the Djerba Explore Park, Houmet Souk, Haret Lihoud and much more! Then we will go for a good swim during the afternoon and follow it with a lovely sunset in a beach bar, aptly called Sunset!

After all that, since it’s sadly the last night in our Tuni’Trip, we will make it memorable by planning for the best farewell pool party for our dear participants and hope that it won’t be the last time to see each other.

For the 6th day, which is the last, we will start it with a good breakfast, then we will hit the road back to Tunis and sadly our journey will be over.

We’ve prepared an amazing, memorable and unforgettable experience and all that will be for just 290€!. So, what are you waiting for? Book your place now and benefit from the discount rate before it’s too late!
